Rehearsal Space is infrastructure that supports artistic and learning development. It gives space to the production of work that uses creative and sensory practices to make sense of social, political and ecological conditions. In particular, Rehearsal Space nurtures art and learning that circulates and expands diasporic and non-western ways of knowing. 

A three month rehearsal of this infrastructure is now underway at the Soanes Centre, where we will be opening up the Training Room for public use, and collectivising the improvised maintenance of an at-risk space. 

The space is free to use, but requires booking via this form. 

Priorities

In alignment with the ethos of Soanes Centre, and to support Setpoint London East’s ongoing work to develop a community-led vision for the centre, we will prioritise bookings from:-

• Tower Hamlets residents, community groups and organisations
• Individuals and groups with Global Majority backgrounds
• Individuals and groups with proven anti-oppression record

Opening days & times

Rehearsal Space opens on Thursday 26 June.

The space will be available for public booking on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays across the summer.

The opening times will be 12pm - 6pm.
